Scunthorpe United are reportedly hopeful of signing former Scotland international Chris Iwelumo this summer.
The 34-year-old forward will be available on a free transfer in June, when his contract with Watford expires.
According to Sky Sports News, Scunthorpe manager Brian Laws, who wants to bolster his attacking ranks ahead of a tough campaign in League Two, has identified Iwelumo as his top pre-season target.
Iwelumo spent the second half of last season on loan at Oldham Athletic, where he scored one goal in nine appearances.
