Jamie Ness makes Scunthorpe United switch

Former Stoke City midfielder Jamie Ness joins League One side Scunthorpe United on a two-year deal.

Scunthorpe United have completed the signing of former Stoke City midfielder Jamie Ness on a two-year deal.

The 24-year-old joins the League One side on a free transfer after being released by the Potters at the end of last season.

He made just one appearance in three years for Stoke following his move to the club from Rangers in 2012.

Ness scored two goals in 35 games during a loan spell with Crewe Alexandra last term.
