Klass-Jan Huntelaar 'focused' on Schalke 04

Schalke 04 striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has insisted that he is relaxed about his current contract situation.

The 29-year-old, who scored 48 goals for the club last season, has less than one year remaining on his deal with the German club.

"I have never said that I would definitely make a quick decision. I have had two serious chats about a new deal, the latest chat was back in August and it was just about sporting aspects and not about financial facts," he told Kicker.

"To make it straight and clear, I want to focus on the matches ahead. These fixtures are very important."

Huntelaar has scored two goals in two games this season.
