Roma offer Daniele De Rossi £5m per year

Roma have reportedly made Daniele De Rossi a final offer in an attempt to keep him at the Stadio Olimpico.

De Rossi, whose current contract expires at the end of this season, has refused to sign a new deal at the club amid reports linking him with a move to the Etihad Stadium under Roberto Mancini.

However, Roma general manager Franco Baldini is believed to have met with the Italian's agent earlier this week and offered him a deal worth almost £5m per season until 2017, according to Sky Sports 24.

The 28-year-old midfielder has been at the Italian club throughout his entire career so far.
