Francesco Totti hails crucial win over Chievo

Francesco Totti praises Roma for returning to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Chievo on Saturday evening.

Francesco Totti has admitted that it was vital for Roma to return to their best form with a 3-0 victory over Chievo on Saturday evening.

The international break forced Rudi Garcia's side to wait for the opportunity to produce a response to the defeat to title rivals Juventus, and Totti has applaud his team's approach against the Serie A strugglers.

"It was great to get these three points after the break, as it was important to maintain that mentality we had before. That's what we wanted," the Roma captain revealed on his official website.

"Against Corini's side we started strong right from the get-go and maintained control with professionalism.

"These are all positive aspects going into the next games."

Roma are currently second in Serie A.
