Real Madrid 'want to offload Eden Hazard this summer'

Eden Hazard reportedly has no future at Real Madrid, with the Spanish champions desperate to sell the Belgium international during this summer's transfer window.

The 30-year-old has only scored four times in 40 appearances for Los Blancos since arriving at the Bernabeu in a big-money move from Chelsea in July 2019.

Hazard has again struggled with injuries this season, scoring just three times in 18 outings, and he found it difficult to make his mark against former club Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

The attacker played 89 minutes of the Champions League semi-final second leg but could not prevent his team from suffering a 2-0 loss on the night, which saw them eliminated 3-1 on aggregate.

According to Marca, Hazard is not in Madrid's plans for the 2021-22 campaign, and the club will attempt to offload him in the upcoming market.

The Belgian still has more than three years left to run on his contract with Zinedine Zidane's side, though, and his substantial wages could make it difficult for Los Blancos to move him on.
