Real Madrid may reportedly attempt to offload a number of their high-earning players to Newcastle United during the January transfer window.

Newcastle United are reportedly likely to be offered the chance to sign a number of Real Madrid players during the January transfer window.

Despite sitting at the bottom of the Premier League standings, the Magpies are expected to sign several high-profile players, a result of their recent takeover.

The North-East outfit have already been linked with some star names of European football, and it appears that clubs of a similar stature could look to take advantage.

According to Sport, Real Madrid may look to negotiate at least one deal with Newcastle as they bid to reduce their wage bill at the midway point of the campaign.

The report says that Los Blancos officials would be prepared to part ways with the likes of Eden Hazard, Isco and Luka Jovic.

A short-term deal for Isco would appear most likely with the playmaker being out of contract in the summer, but each of the trio are likely to reject the chance of a permanent switch while Newcastle are looking to avoid relegation to the Championship.
