Striker Alvaro Morata reveals Juventus contract talks

Alvaro Morata has revealed that he has started contract negotiations with Juventus.

The 23-year-old was recently linked with a switch to Real Madrid, who inserted a buy-back clause into the deal when they sold Morata to their Turin-based counterparts in 2014.

However, the Spaniard has provided a big indication that he has decided to extend his stay in Italy.

"I'm discussing a contract renewal with Juventus and everything is going smoothly," he told Cadena Sar.

Morata has scored one goal in his 10 Serie A outings this term.
