Real Madrid tell Ronaldo to expect scrutiny

Spanish giants Real Madrid have reportedly told Cristiano Ronaldo to concentrate on his football amongst recent criticism of the Portuguese skipper.

Ronaldo has been criticised for his performances against the big teams in Spain in previous seasons, notably Barcelona, and the former Manchester United striker has hit back at recent taunts.

After scoring a hat-trick against Sevilla at the weekend, he stated: "This serves to silence the mouths of those who criticise me."

Ronaldo, 26, has scored 111 goals in 112 games since moving to Madrid in 2009.
