Real Madrid 'receive Eduardo Camavinga fitness boost'

Eduardo Camavinga will reportedly be available for Real Madrid's Champions League game against Shakhtar Donetsk next week despite concerns over a foot problem.

The summer arrival from Rennes had to leave the France Under-21s camp over the international break due to a troublesome foot injury, and there were suggestions that the midfielder could be facing a spell on the sidelines.

However, according to Marca, the 18-year-old was able to train fully on Thursday and will be available for selection against Shakhtar in the European Cup.

Camavinga was linked with a number of clubs over the summer before eventually making the move to Real Madrid in the final stages of the summer transfer window.

The France international has scored once and provided one assist in seven appearances for Carlo Ancelotti's side during the 2021-22 campaign.

Real Madrid had been due to face Athletic Bilbao this weekend, but the fixture has been postponed due to the schedule of the South American World Cup qualification matches.
