Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema has insisted that Los Blancos are still confident of winning La Liga this season.
Sunday's 2-1 defeat in El Clasico left Real Madrid trailing league leaders Barcelona by four points.
However, Benzema has said that his team "are not throwing in the towel".
"We must keep believing. Barca have some tough fixtures and they have to play Sevilla away and Valencia at home," he told Marca.
"It's up to us to win all our remaining games and hope Barcelona slip up somewhere. Anything can happen and we are not throwing in the towel. We are still focused on both La Liga and the Champions League."
Benzema is currently on international duty with France.
