Jose Mourinho: 'Players didn't expect to win'

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has claimed that his players didn't believe that they could beat Barcelona before their Copa del Rey quarter-final defeat at the Nou Camp.

Despite a 2-2 draw on the night, Mourinho's side were dumped out of the competition by their bitter rivals 4-3 on aggregate.

"I heard in the changing room that it is impossible to win here," he told reporters.

When asked why his players thought that way, he replied: "Just ask them."

Barca will now face the winner of Thursday's quarter-final between Valencia and Levante.
