Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho respects Borussia Dortmund and admits that the German champions will prove to be tough to beat.

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has admitted that winning against Borussia Dortmund in Germany on Wednesday will be "difficult".

The Spanish champions are without injured full-backs Marcelo, Alvaro Arbeloa and Fabio Coentrao for their Champions League Group D clash, but the Portuguese manager claims that the game will be tough because of the quality of their opponents.

"It is a difficult game but not because of the absences," he said on Tuesday. "I don't think that we have any absences because I don't like to talk about it.

"We have a team and players to play. It is a difficult game because the rivals and the group are difficult.

"[Dortmund] is a good team. We analyse the rivals as a team, not individually. They are full of good players and we need to respect them and that is what we are going to do."

Madrid are currently at the top of their group with two wins from two matches.
