Adam Maher impressed with PSV Eindhoven effort

Midfielder Adam Maher has said that he is keen to repay PSV Eindhoven for the faith that they have placed in him.

Maher completed his £8m transfer from AZ Alkmaar earlier on Monday, and the Dutch Under-21 star has revealed that he is happy with the reaction from everyone connected with the club

The 19-year-old told reporters: "PSV have fought for me. The fans let me know also that they would like to see me in Eindhoven. Now I want to repay the club with my performances on the field."

Maher scored 10 goals in 39 appearances for Alkmaar last season.
