Carlo Ancelotti is close to becoming the new coach of Paris Saint-Germain and wants to take Kaka, Alexandre Pato and David Beckham with him.

Paris Saint-Germain are expected to confirm the appointment of Carlo Ancelotti as the club's new coach later today, according to reports in France.

It is believed that the former Chelsea boss has agreed a two-and-a-half-year deal at the Parc des Princes that is worth around £440,000 per month.

The 52-year-old will take over the club from Antoine Kombouare, who has yet to be officially relieved of his duties.

Real Madrid's Kaka and AC Milan's Pato are reportedly Ancelotti's main transfer targets during the January transfer window. David Beckham is also expected to join the club on a free transfer early next month.

PSG are currently top of Ligue 1.
