Neymar 'to miss Manchester United clash'

Paris Saint-Germain will reportedly be without the services of Neymar for the first leg of their last-16 Champions League clash with Manchester United.

Paris Saint-Germain will reportedly be without the services of Neymar for the first leg of their last-16 Champions League clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford on February 12.

Neymar emerged as a huge doubt for the fixture after picking up a foot injury against Strasbourg in the Coupe de France last week.

The 26-year-old missed PSG's 4-1 win over Rennes in Ligue 1 on Sunday, and according to RMC Sport, he will not recover in time for the first leg of his team's last-16 tie with United.

However, it is currently unclear whether the metatarsal injury will rule the Brazil international out of the return leg in Paris on March 6.

Neymar, who fractured a metatarsal on the same foot in February, has scored 20 times and registered 10 assists in 23 appearances in all competitions for his French club this season.

The attacker netted five times in PSG's six Champions League group matches in the first half of the campaign.
