Portsmouth bring in Millwall captain Paul Robinson on loan

Portsmouth have completed the signing of Millwall captain Paul Robinson on a one-month loan deal.

The 32-year-old has made over 350 appearances for the Lions since he graduated from the club's youth academy in 2001.

"He's an experienced Championship centre-back – and that's an area where we're a little bit light on numbers," manager Andy Awford told Portsmouth's official website.

"I'm looking forward to working with Paul and we're grateful to Millwall for loaning him to us."

Pompey get their League Two campaign underway on Saturday when they make the trip to Exeter City.
