Cameroonian defender Songo'o joins Plymouth

League Two side Plymouth Argyle have completed the signing of free agent Yann Songo'o.

The former Cameroon Under-20 international, 24, played under current Pilgrims boss Derek Adams last season on loan at Scottish Premiership side Ross County, where he made 17 appearances.

Songo'o is the younger brother of former Portsmouth striker Franck Songo'o and the son of 98-cap Cameroon goalkeeper Jacques Songo'o.

The defender started his career at Deportivo La Coruna and has also had stints at Metz, Real Zaragoza and Sporting Kansas City, but has been without a club since being released by Blackburn Rovers last year.
