Spanish football league officials and the players' union have reached an agreement to end the strike which forced the postponement of the opening games of the top two divisions last weekend.
The first round of matches will now take place this weekend, starting on Saturday.
The deal was reached on Thursday after the players' union and league returned to meet again. Talks that had started on Wednesday afternoon dragged late into the night, reportedly ending at 5.30am.
The union said the industrial action was called off after the league guaranteed €50m (£44m) owed to over 200 players in unpaid wages and reached an agreement to allow players to be released from their contracts if wages were not paid.
It was the fourth strike in the history of the Spanish league and the first since 1984.
