The summer transfer window has now closed, shutting the door on one of the most turbulent spells in Barcelona's history.
The Spanish giants were rocked by Lionel Messi's request to leave the club, sparking a bitter contract dispute which ultimately ended with the six-time Ballon d'Or winner reluctantly agreeing to stay for at least another season.
Other notable names such as Luis Suarez, Ivan Rakitic and Arturo Vidal did leave, though, while Messi's future is sure to be the subject of much more speculation going forward.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer news from the Camp Nou.
Saturday morning's Barcelona transfer talk news roundup:
Barcelona open contract talks with Ousmane Dembele?
Barcelona have reportedly entered negotiations with Ousmane Dembele over a new long-term contract at Camp Nou.
The former Borussia Dortmund man has been plagued with injuries since his big-money move to the Catalan giants, but Dembele has enjoyed a fruitful start to the new campaign, particularly in the Champions League.
The 23-year-old already boasts three goals and two assists in Europe's premier competition this season, with Dembele scoring one and setting up another in Barca's 3-0 win at Ferencvaros in midweek.
However, with Manchester United reportedly waiting to swoop for Dembele, who will see his deal at Camp Nou expire in 2022, ESPN claims that Barcelona are determined to tie the France international down to a new deal as a matter of urgency.
The report says that the Blaugrana hierarchy are optimistic about the situation, but the club will need the approval of Barca's new president - set to be elected on January 24 - before signing off on any incomings or new deals in Catalonia.
Dembele has become a regular under Ronald Koeman this season and is understood to have the Dutchman's full faith after applying himself well in training, with a summer move to Man United supposedly falling through due to Dembele's desire to leave a legacy at Camp Nou.
Manchester City to make January bid for Lionel Messi?
Lionel Messi reportedly remains keen to leave Barcelona as soon as possible, leaving Manchester City to consider a bid for the forward in January.
The Premier League giants had wanted to sign the 33-year-old earlier this year, only for the hierarchy at the Catalan giants to insist that a £630m release clause must be activated.
However, interim president Carlos Tusquets has revealed that he would have sold Messi in the summer had he replaced Josep Maria Bartomeu at an earlier date.
According to The Sun, City may look to complete a deal for the Argentine during the January window, whether that be for a fee or on a pre-contract agreement.
Unless Messi has a change of heart, he will be able to hold discussions with foreign clubs at the beginning of 2021.
While Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be in the running, the French side are only interested in a free transfer at the end of the campaign.
