Japan will play the United States in the FIFA Women's World Cup final this weekend.
Japan beat Sweden 3-1 and tournament favourites USA saw off England's conquerers France by the same scoreline to reach the final.
Victory for the United States would make them the most successful side in the tournament's history, having won in 1991 and 1999.
The pair will now meet on Sunday evening in Frankfurt.
