Darlington make manager, players made redundant

Darlington have made their manager Craig Liddle and the club's entire playing staff redundant.

The Blue Square Conference club are currently in administration and are now just a matter of days away from ceasing to exist.

Talks are planned for later this week regarding a possible takeover, although Liddle has told Sky Sports News that it is unlikely that those discussions will prove successful.

The Quakers have been in existence for 128 years.
