Butcher remains upbeat despite loss

Inverness Caledonian Thistle manager Terry Butcher has insisted that he retains faith in his players despite their second defeat in a row.

Butcher saw his side lose out to Hibernian 1-0 courtesy of a stoppage time goal from Garry O'Connor.

"I'm very excited by this group of players," Butcher said after the home defeat.

"I said that before the game and, having seen them play, I am even more excited.

"We have done everything but put the ball in the back of the net. If we play like that, some team is going to take hammering sooner rather than later."

Former England international Butcher became Caley Thistle boss in 2009.
