NAC Breda earn point at Heerenveen

NAC Breda collect another valuable point in their battle against Eredivisie relegation by holding Heerenveen to a 0-0 draw at Abe Lenstra Stadium.

NAC Breda picked up another valuable point in their battle against Eredivisie relegation by holding Heerenveen to a 0-0 draw.

Robert Maaskant's side are now unbeaten in four games and have climbed above Heracles to 14th in the table.

Heerenveen did Breda a favour prior to the international break by thrashing Heracles 4-1, but they were not in goalscoring form at Abe Lenstra Stadium this evening.

They failed to make the most of their 66% possession and eight attempts on goal, and it was actually the visitors who came closest to snatching victory.

Erik Falkenburg, who has scored three goals in his last four games, and Demy de Zeeuw both missed good chances, but Breda will be content with a point in their survival bid.
