Didier Drogba to leave Montreal Impact at the end of the season

Striker Didier Drogba confirms that he will leave Montreal Impact at the end of the MLS season.

Striker Didier Drogba has revealed that his focus is on the MLS playoffs, despite confirming that he will leave Montreal Impact.

Drogba has scored 27 times in 33 appearances for the Canadian outfit but after their 3-2 win over Toronto FC on Tuesday night, he admitted that he had participated in his last home fixture for the club.

The 38-year-old told reporters: "There's still one or maybe two games to go. Next week's game is more important than if it's finished or not.

"Everyone knows it was my last game here. Now let's focus on the semi-final."

Drogba is expected to feature in the second leg of the Eastern Conference finals tie in Toronto next week as his side look to reach the final of the MLS Cup.
