Manchester United track Sporting Lisbon's Ricky van Wolfswinkel

Manchester United are reportedly interested in luring Sporting Lisbon frontman Ricky van Wolfswinkel to Old Trafford in January.

The 22-year-old, who only moved to the Portuguese side this summer, is being targeted by the Premier League champions, according to the Daily Mail.

It is believed that the Red Devils would have to spend in the region of £11m to get the striker.

The Dutchman has already netted six goals in seven games for Sporting and has one senior international cap to his name.
