Manchester United target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has no plans to leave Lazio

Milinkovic-Savic "happy" at Lazio

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has revealed that he will not push to leave Lazio this month amid reported interest from Manchester United.

Last month, it was claimed that the Red Devils were in pole position to sign the 22-year-old midfielder.

Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with a swoop for the highly-rated player, with rumours claiming that the French giants are planning a £150m bid.

However, Milinkovic-Savic has suggested that he will not be going anywhere by claiming that he is content with life at Lazio, where he arrived from Genk in 2015.

"I am focused only on Lazio," the midfielder told Serbian newspaper Novosti. "This season, Serie A has improved significantly, as you can see by the fact all the clubs are still in the Champions League or Europa League.

"As a club, we have a clear goal of a top four position, because that gives qualification to the Champions League from next season. That is a really big challenge. I am not thinking about leaving Lazio, because I am currently very happy in Rome."

This season, the Serbian has scored seven goals and created two assists in 24 appearances in all competitions.
