Man City meet parents of Joao Felix?

Manchester City have reportedly met with the parents of Benfica youngster Joao Felix.

The 19-year-old has emerged as one of the most sought-after players in Europe, having contributed 16 goals and eight assists in Primeira Liga and the Europa League this season.

Liverpool, Manchester United and Juventus are said to be among the admirers of the Portuguese, but according to Record, it is Man City who have made the biggest attempt to sign the playmaker.

The report claims that director of football Txiki Begiristain spoke with the parents of Felix when in attendance for the Europa League fixture between Benfica and Eintracht Frankfurt.

Benfica president Luis Felipe Vieira has ruled out a summer exit for Felix, but the youngster's release clause currently stands at £100m.

City midfielder Bernardo Silva has admitted that he would like to see his compatriot at the Etihad Stadium.
