Manchester United duo Anthony Elanga and Scott McTominay are transfer targets for Barcelona, according to a report.

Barcelona reportedly have an interest in Manchester United duo Anthony Elanga and Scott McTominay.

The Red Devils are believed to be keen to sign Frenkie de Jong from the Catalan giants this summer, and the likes of Alex Telles, Harry Maguire and Marcus Rashford have been linked with moves to Camp Nou as possible makeweights.

However, according to journalist Gerard Romero, speaking on Twitch, Xavi's side have an interest in two other Man United players in the shape of Elanga and McTominay.

Elanga has enjoyed a breakthrough season at Old Trafford, with the 20-year-old making 24 appearances in all competitions, contributing three goals and one assist in the process.

McTominay, meanwhile, has again been an important player for the 20-time English champions, featuring on 34 occasions, providing two goals and one assist.

Romero claims that Barcelona would want to speak about the Red Devils duo if there were official talks over a potential summer deal for Dutch midfielder De Jong.

However, the Catalan outfit's head coach Xavi said on Saturday afternoon that the 24-year-old is "the present and the future" of the club.
