Eric Bailly has become incredibly frustrated by Harry Maguire's continued selection in the Manchester United team, according to a report.

Eric Bailly is reportedly becoming incredibly frustrated by Harry Maguire's continued selection in the Manchester United team despite his disappointing form.

Maguire again found it difficult against Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, and the England international's form has been heavily criticised in recent weeks.

The 29-year-old remains first choice for the Red Devils, though, making 29 appearances in all competitions during the 2021-22 campaign, and he will finish the season with the captain's armband.

Bailly, on the other hand, has featured on just seven occasions in all competitions this season, with the Ivory Coast international down the pecking order at Old Trafford.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Bailly does not believe that Maguire deserves a spot in the team and is frustrated that he has been overlooked for a starting role since returning from international duty.

There remains a host of speculation surrounding the 27-year-old's future, with Barcelona, AC Milan and Roma among the clubs to be linked with his services.

The former Espanyol youngster has only made four Premier League appearances this season.
