Real Madrid could raise as much as £104m through sales this summer, with five players potentially leaving the club.

Real Madrid could raise as much as £104m through player sales this summer, which could potentially see the La Liga and European champions further boost their squad for next term.

Carlo Ancelotti's side have signed Antonio Rudiger on a free transfer from Chelsea, while Aurelien Tchouameni has moved to Bernabeu in a big-money deal from Monaco.

The exits of Gareth Bale, Isco and Marcelo on free transfers have eased the club's wage budget, though, and a number of players continue to be linked with moves to Bernabeu.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez recently said that the club were not currently planning to make any more signings this summer but refused to rule out more new players arriving.

There will be further exits, meanwhile, and Los Blancos could potentially raise as much as £104m by allowing five first-team players to move on in the current market.

Ferland Mendy's future has recently been called into question, with the 27-year-old believed to be a target for both Chelsea and Manchester United this summer.

The France international made 35 appearances at club level last term, but David Alaba might be shifted across to left-back next season following the arrival of Rudiger, which could push Mendy down the pecking order.

The left-back is valued at £36m by Transfermarkt, and Los Blancos would have a decision to make if an offer in the region of that figure were to arrive this summer.

Dani Ceballos, meanwhile, is out of contract next summer, and the Spaniard is currently being linked with an exit.

The 25-year-old did make 18 appearances in all competitions last term, but he is well down the pecking order for the midfield roles, and with a valuation of £12.6m, he could be on his way out of the club this summer.

Mariano Diaz - valued at £5.4m - and Luka Jovic - valued at £14.4m - are another two players that could be surplus to requirements at Bernabeu during the 2022-23 campaign.

The former only made 11 appearances for Real Madrid last season, scoring once and providing one assist, although he was unavailable for periods of the campaign through injury.

Jovic, meanwhile, managed just one goal and three assists in 19 appearances at club level last term, and the 24-year-old could be moved on to make room for another attacker.

The Serbia international's form for Eintracht Frankfurt led to the Spanish giants signing him, but he has managed just three goals and five assists in 51 appearances for his current side.

Marco Asensio, meanwhile, is believed to be attracting interest from the Premier League, with the 26-year-old potentially available for transfer this summer.

The Spaniard scored 12 times and registered two assists in 42 appearances for Los Blancos last season, but he is out of contract next summer, and the two parties have not yet managed to agree an extension.

Man United, Liverpool and Arsenal are all believed to be keen on the versatile attacker, who has scored 49 goals and 24 assists in 235 appearances for his current side in all competitions.

Asensio, according to Transfermarkt, has a valuation of £36m, which could take Real Madrid's sales to £104m if they were to move on the five players mentioned in the current market.
