Team News: Victor Valdes makes first Manchester United start

Victor Valdes makes his first Manchester United start in their final-day Premier League clash at Hull City.

Victor Valdes will make his first start for Manchester United in this afternoon's Premier League clash at relegation-threatened Hull City.

The former Barcelona goalkeeper came off the bench to make his debut against Arsenal last weekend and, with David de Gea still struggling with an injury, the Spaniard is in from the start.

There is no Radamel Falcao, who looks certain to leave Old Trafford this summer. Angel Di Maria, however, does start, while there is a return in attack for skipper Wayne Rooney.

As for Hull, Gaston Ramirez, Curtis Davies and Jake Livermore are all still unavailable, but Nikica Jelavic starts in attack.

Michael Dawson is also fit to form part of a three-man defence, but Uruguay international Abel Hernandez is left on the bench.

Hull: Harper; Chester, Dawson, McShane; Elmohamady, Huddlestone, Meyler, Quinn, Brady; N'Doye, Jelavic

United: Valdes; Valencia, Smalling, Jones, Rojo; Di Maria, Blind, Herrera, Mata, Young; Rooney
