Watford team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Manchester United

Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news for Watford ahead of Saturday's trip to face Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Watford will be looking to inflict a third successive defeat on Manchester United when they travel to Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

The Hornets went into the international break sitting eighth in the Premier League table, just one point adrift of Wolverhampton Wanderers and a possible European spot.

Those two sides will meet in the FA Cup semi-finals next month, but first Watford must look to end an eight-match losing streak against teams from the 'big six'.

Javi Gracia is able to call on the vast majority of his players, though, and here Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news ahead of this weekend's contest.


WATFORD'S INJURY LIST

Jose Holebas

Status: Slight doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: March 30 (vs. Man Utd)

Jose Holebas is currently struggling with an ankle injury, the extent of which has not yet been clarified by the club. The full-back is considered a doubt at this stage but does have a chance of featuring.


Tom Cleverley

Status: Ruled out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: April 7 (vs. Wolves)

Tom Cleverley will miss out on featuring against his boyhood club after picking up a calf injury during the international break. Gracia is doubtful that he will be fit in time for the FA Cup semi-final against Wolves a week later but it remains a possibility.


WATFORD'S SUSPENSION LIST

Watford have no players suspended for this match, but midfielder Etienne Capoue is just one yellow card away from a two-match ban.
