Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has said that he does not miss Serie A as he is too happy in England.

The former Inter Milan forward has been linked with a move back to his homeland, but he says that he is enjoying playing for the Premier League leaders for the time being.

"How much do I miss the Serie A? Zero. I'm too happy to be in England," he said.

"The Italian league has dropped much. The Premier League is beautiful and I play in the strongest English team. I want to stay there."

However, the 21-year-old has not ruled out a move back to Italian football one day.

"Where would I like to play in Italy? In Lombardy (the region of Milan)," he added. "If one day there is the basis to return to Inter Milan I would do. But it would need to be a team with big ambition. For now, however, I'm not thinking about leaving the Premier League.

"A.C. Milan? I like them, they're a top club. They've had great players and some are there now. They are players with whom I'd like to play. How close was I to A.C. Milan? I don't know, only my agent knows."
