Sergio Aguero wants to return to Independiente in 2017

Sergio Aguero has claimed that he wants to return to Argentina and sign for former club Independiente when he is 29.

The Manchester City striker told Argentinian radio show Ecos del Rojo that he will return to his former club, adding: "I always want the best for Independiente."

Aguero made his debut for Independiente at the age of 15 and starred for the club before attracting interest from Spanish side Atletico Madrid.

The 23-year-old signed for Manchester City in July for a club record £35m deal and has since netted 13 goals in 23 appearances for Roberto Mancini's side.
