Wednesday's Champions League predictions including Bayern Munich vs. Man City

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Champions League fixtures, including Bayern Munich vs. Man City.

Inter Milan vs. Benfica (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

A welcome distraction from the misery of Serie A awaits Inter Milan on Wednesday, as they host Benfica in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final at San Siro on Wednesday.

Simone Inzaghi's side were seen as the underdogs at the Estadio da Luz, but they travelled back to base with a 2-0 first-leg advantage to put one foot firmly in the final four.

We say: Inter Milan 1-1 Benfica (Inter win 3-1 on aggregate)

A depleted Inter backline that used to pride themselves on clean sheets should be breached on at least one occasion here, as Schmidt's side go for broke to keep their European dream alive.

The return of Otamendi will also add another layer of steel to a Benfica side who tend to travel well in Europe, but the Eagles' morale levels are arguably as low as Inter's right now, and Inzaghi's cup specialists can force a low-scoring draw to set up an all-Italian semi-final with Napoli or Milan.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Bayern vs. Man City (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Returning to his former stomping ground without a shred of sentiment, Pep Guardiola leads his Manchester City team out for the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final with Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.

The Premier League champions board their flight to Germany with a 3-0 advantage under their belts from last week's first leg, where Thomas Tuchel's Bavarian baptism of fire continued.

We say: Bayern Munich 1-2 Manchester City (Man City win 5-1 on aggregate)

Rival territory was not kind to Man City during the group stages, and Bayern's affinity for goals at the Allianz Arena should at least lead to a flicker of hope for Tuchel's side, which may quickly be extinguished.

The Champions League-winning nous in Bayern's ranks counted for nought at the Etihad, and it should be a similar story against Man City's well-rested and goal-happy crop, as they stroll into the final four with a comprehensive beating of the Bavarians.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
