Arsenal offered Yoann Gourcuff on loan?

Arsenal have reportedly been offered Lyon playmaker Yoann Gourcuff on loan until the end of the season.

Lyon are thought to be desperate to offload the French international's £80,000-a-week wages but Arsene Wenger is undecided on the move, according to the Daily Mail.

Gourcuff has endured a frustrating time in recent seasons after initially shining following a move from AC Milan to Ligue 1 in 2009.

The 26-year-old has played 29 times for France and operates primarily in an advanced midfield position.
