Liverpool make Luc Castaignos bid

Liverpool have contacted Inter Milan about the possibility of taking youngster Luc Castaignos on a loan basis, according to The National.

Reds manager Kenny Dalglish is said to be keen on bolstering his attacking options, particularly with Luis Suarez currently serving an eight-match suspension.

Dalglish has set his sights on 19-year-old Castaignos and will submit a loan offer with a view to a permanent move.

The Dutch youth international has made four appearances for Inter since joining the club from Feyenoord last year.
