Alexandre Lacazette extends Lyon contract

Reported Liverpool target Alexandre Lacazette has signed a new deal with Lyon.

The 24-year-old France international has extended his current contract with the Ligue 1 side until 2019.

"People can stop talking about me," the striker told reporters at a press conference.

"Now I hope we will talk about me only because I am scoring goals and winning games with Lyon. The team is growing, there is the Champions League, there is a [new stadium] and therefore there is no reason to leave."

Lacazette scored 25 goals last season as Lyon finished second in Ligue 1.
