Andy Carroll will reportedly inform Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers that he will not be forced out of the Merseyside club this summer.

Liverpool striker Andy Carroll is reportedly expected to inform manager Brendan Rodgers that he will not leave the club without a fight.

The 23-year-old, who is believed to have rejoined the Reds for their pre-season schedule in Boston yesterday, has been widely speculated to move away from the club this summer.

Newcastle United have been linked with a loan move for their former striker, while the Merseyside outfit are believed to only be willing to offload the England international on a permanent basis.

The frontman is expected to inform his Northern Irish boss that he is disgruntled at the club's treatment of him and will fight to stay at the club, according to the Daily Star.

The Reds are due to take on Roma at the home of the Boston Red Sox baseball team, Fenway Park.
