Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Liverpool could line up for Sunday's Premier League showdown with Leicester City.

Liverpool manager Arne Slot has confirmed that Trent Alexander-Arnold could be back in the matchday squad for the Reds' Premier League battle with Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

The right-back has not been seen since the Champions League last-16 exit to Paris Saint-Germain last month, having injured his ankle in that second-leg loss to the French champions.

Alexander-Arnold will not be starting this one even if he is given the green light to make an appearance, though, so expect Conor Bradley to continue in Arne Slot's backline for the time being.

Virgil van Dijk will continue to marshal the defence after signing a new two-year contract at Anfield, most likely with Andy Robertson alongside him as the Scot replaces Kostas Tsimikas, in spite of his comical error against West Ham United.

Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister could potentially be celebrating their first Premier League title wins by the close of play this weekend, while Dominik Szoboszlai ought to replace Curtis Jones further forward.

Speaking of the attack, the indomitable Mohamed Salah could break a very unique Premier League record here; if he scores, he will become the first player to net in all six games against newly-promoted teams in one season.

Luis Diaz will aid Salah in that quest, but Diogo Jota did not cut the mustard against West Ham United, so it would not be a shock to see Cody Gakpo at the tip of the attack.

Liverpool possible starting lineup:
Alisson; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Szoboszlai, Diaz; Gakpo
