Sky Sports personnel were reportedly tear-gassed before Saturday's Champions League final between Liverpool and eventual winners Real Madrid.
The contest was delayed by nearly 40 minutes following reports of chaotic scenes outside of the Stade de France ahead of the final.
UEFA faced criticism after blaming the delayed kickoff on the "late arrival" of supporters, but Liverpool have since called for a formal investigation to be launched into the events that occurred outside the stadium.
According to Sky Sports News, their reporter Kaveh Solhekol was caught up in the concerning scenes, with Solhekol and his crew tear-gassed outside the Stade de France.
Solhekol stated: "In the last few minutes, me and three of my crew were tear-gassed for no reason whatsoever by the French police. It was a pretty nasty experience but we sorted it out by getting a few bottles of water and pouring it in our eyes. We are all fine."
The final eventually kicked off at 8:36pm UK time, with Real Madrid prevailing thanks to Vinicius Junior's second half strike, which guided the Spanish giants to a 1-0 victory.
