Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho has admitted that the Reds' season has been a disappointment so far.
Brendan Rodgers's side finished as runners-up in the Premier League last term, but have already lost four of their games this season.
The Brazilian said that the whole squad have been frustrated by their lack of form, but denied that their issues are solely the fault of the defence.
He told Topmercato.com: "Our season has been pretty disappointing so far and we are quite frustrated at having already lost four games in the league so far.
"We have not yet found a balance in terms of our game and we take too many goals. This is not the fault of the defensive line, it is the fault of everyone.
"We need to fix this as soon as possible so as not to lose points on errors of concentration. We'll get to solve this. We will show more serious and better defensive solidarity."
Coutinho arrived from Inter Milan for around £8m in January 2013.
