Liverpool midfielder Suso reveals that he will be on the sidelines for a "couple of months" as he needs to undergo groin surgery.

Liverpool midfielder Suso has revealed that he is expected to be out of action for two months because he needs to undergo groin surgery.

The 20-year-old has played a bit-part role at Anfield for some time, but featured in the Reds' penalty shootout win over Middlesbrough in the Capital One Cup last week.

Now, the Spaniard has confirmed that he will be unavailable for selection for around two months due to injury.

Suso wrote on Instagram: "Hello everyone. Just to tell you I'll be out of the team for a couple of months with a surgery operation next week coz of my groins ... I'll be back soon.. Stronger than ever..YNWA."

Rumours have emerged in Italy claiming that Suso could be on his way to AC Milan at the end of the season.
