According to the Premier League table, Liverpool's biggest remaining domestic test of the season comes on Sunday when they host third-placed Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield.
The Reds went into the international break with a two-point lead over Manchester City at the top of the standings, but they could be knocked back down to second with City in action on Saturday.
Victory over an out-of-form Spurs side would be enough to ensure top spot at the end of the weekend, although they have played a game more than the champions and are reliant on Pep Guardiola's side dropping points between now and the end of the season.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news for Jurgen Klopp's side ahead of Tottenham's visit.
LIVERPOOL'S INJURY LIST
Xherdan Shaqiri
Status: Slight doubt Type of injury: Groin Possible return date: March 31 (vs. Spurs)
Xherdan Shaqiri has fallen out of favour in recent months and was forced to withdraw from the Switzerland squad due to a groin injury too. The playmaker could recover in time to feature this weekend, though.
Naby Keita
Status: Slight doubt Type of injury: Muscle Possible return date: March 31 (vs. Spurs)
Naby Keita missed Liverpool's final two games before the international break but is expected to have fully recovered in time for Sunday.
Trent Alexander-Arnold
Status: Slight doubt Type of injury: Back Possible return date: March 31 (vs. Spurs)
Another player who was unable to take part in international duties during the break, Trent Alexander-Arnold could nonetheless be in contention this week. The back injury which forced him out of the England squad is not thought to be severe.
Joe Gomez
Status: Major doubt Type of injury: Ankle Possible return date: April 5 (vs. Southampton)
Joe Gomez is expected to return to full training after the international break, but Sunday's match may come too soon for the defender as he looks to work his way back up to 100% following more than three months on the sidelines.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
Status: Major doubt Type of injury: Hamstring Possible return date: April 9 (vs. Porto)
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will also return to full training after the international break and, having suffered a setback in his recovery during an Under-23s game earlier this month, he is once again now closing in on a return after almost a full year out.
LIVERPOOL'S SUSPENSION LIST
Liverpool have no suspensions for this game.
