Monaco ease past Leicester City

Monaco have defeated Leicester City 3-0 in their pre-season friendly at the King Power Stadium.

The visitors, who fielded a strong starting lineup, went ahead in the eighth minute when Layvin Kurzawa headed in from a corner.

Big-money signing Radamel Falcao saw his header kept out by Kasper Schmeichel midway through the first half, but he was not to be denied on 38 minutes when he tapped in from close range.

Monaco coach Claudio Ranieri made a raft of substitutions on the hour mark, and the away side sealed the win in the final five minutes through Marcel Tisserand.
