Report: West Ham United begin talks with Angelo Ogbonna

West Ham United have reportedly begun talks with Juventus for the transfer of Angelo Ogbonna.

The 27-year-old has struggled for playing time at the Bianconeri, starting just 19 games for the club last season.

He has since been strongly linked with a move away from Turin, and according to Goal.com, West Ham are close to reaching an agreement with Juventus for his sale.

It is believed that the Hammers have not yet made a firm offer for Ogbonna, but they are thought to value him at £8.5m.

Ogbonna has spent the past two years at Juventus, following his move from Torino in July 2013.
