Juventus chief executive Beppe Marotta reveals that Fabio Quagliarella has been fined for his outburst as he came off the field in the 1-0 defeat to AC Milan.

Juventus forward Fabio Quagliarella has received a fine for his outburst after being substituted in the 1-0 loss to AC Milan on Sunday.

The club's chief executive Beppe Marotta insisted that the club "cannot allow misconduct".

Quagliarella made a comment to Juve's acting coach Angelo Alessio as he came off the pitch, although in a meeting with officials, it seems the incident has been put to bed following the issue of the fine.

Marotta told Sky TG24: "Quagliarella was fined but only after a calm discussion with him.

"He was angry at being substituted in a game where the team were losing - he wanted to help his teammates to get an equaliser. It was an anger that immediately passed.

"The club have strict rules in terms of behaviour, and cannot allow misconduct."

The Turin club face Torino this Saturday, though it is not known as to whether Quagliarella will play.
