Juventus striker Fabio Quagliarella has admitted that he is delighted to be finally playing in the Champions League.
Although he has played in European Championships and World Cups, Quagliarella had yet to play in Europe's premier club competition until this season.
The player has admitted that it is a "dream" to compete and was especially delighted to have scored on his debut against Chelsea.
"It's a competition I have always followed on TV, so it was my dream to take part in it," UEFA.com quotes Quagliarella as saying.
"Fortunately this season I have been lucky enough to play in it and it has gone pretty well.
"I was brought on and scored so I will never forget my Champions League debut. It's a goal I carry especially close to my heart."
Juventus travel to German giants Bayern Munich on April 2.
