Report: Hull City, Celtic to battle for Polish striker Lukasz Gikiewicz

Hull City and Celtic are both looking to sign Polish striker Lukasz Gikiewicz, according to reports.

The 27-year-old is a free agent after leaving Bulgarian club Levski Sofia last summer, and The Scotsman claims that MLS side Chicago Fire are also interested in the player.

Gikiewicz played just six matches for Levski Sofia since signing for them in January, scoring twice.

Celtic confirmed the signing of Dundee United striker Nadir Ciftci earlier today.
